Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aslak Aas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jupiter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aas's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nunnuka Nunnuka. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Jupiter Sound. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aslak Aas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jupiter Jones!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aas moves out of range of the leg kick from Jones.
Aas swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Aas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aas is looking to counter punch.
Jones clobbers Aas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jones misses with a hook
and Aas counters with a solid body kick.
Jones thumps Aas with a low kick.
Aas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Jones has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aas's head.

Jupiter Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Aas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Aas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Aas might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Aas flashes Jones a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Jones's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Jones crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Aas punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Aslak Aas very nearly forgot to thank Milwaukee's Best 160 (80% laundry) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
