Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Point Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen Beast as his entrance music. Andrew Ryan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Point Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter clobbers Ryan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fighter throws an overhand right that lands on Ryan's shoulder, as Ryan tries to avoid the shot.
Fighter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ryan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Fighter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fighter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

And Ryan responds with a good body kick, but Fighter manages to step out the way in time.

Fighter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ryan moves away.

Ryan was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Fighter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nice straight punches there by Fighter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fighter.
Ryan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fighter.
Fighter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Point Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter scores with a one two! Ryan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Fighter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Fighter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ryan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fighter scores with a jab. Ryan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Ryan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Ryan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fighter.
Fighter ducks under a wild hook from Ryan.
A little feinted left hand from Fighter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Fighter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Ryan throws out a loose jab but Fighter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fighter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ryan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fighter lands a jab to the nose.
Ryan throws a body shot but no joy.
Fighter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ryan.
Ryan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Fighter misses the jab.
A little jabbing left from Ryan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ryan slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Point Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ryan lands a glancing blow to the side of Fighter's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ryan swings for the body but Fighter moves out of range.
Ryan misses with a straight right.
Fighter's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ryan under the eye.
Ryan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ryan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fighter throws the left hand but Ryan avoids the punch easily.
Ryan thinks about the counter body kick.
Fighter slips a jab from Ryan.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ryan as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Point Fighter dominated that round.
That's time! Fighter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ryan motions for Fighter to come forward. Ryan throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Fighter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ryan can do to turn this around?

Ryan looks to land a right hand but Fighter moved out of range.

Fighter looks to score with a jab to the body but Ryan is just out of range.
A lazy left from Fighter finds it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter scores with a sloppy right hand. Ryan should have avoided that one.
Fighter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Ryan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fighter has got the better of the exchanges.
