The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to clinch

and Graves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Smith's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Smith manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Smith gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Smith working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Graves's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smith postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Smith lands a couple of elbows.

Graves has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Smith should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Graves has tightened it up now! Smith should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
