Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricci Morocco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakki Fakiiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morocco wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Good leg kick by Fakiiri there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Morocco throws an overhand right that lands on Fakiiri's shoulder, as Fakiiri tries to avoid the shot.
Fakiiri moves out of range as Morocco throws a body kick.
Morocco pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fakiiri is looking to chop away at Morocco's legs.
Morocco feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Fakiiri. Those never looked like landing.
Fakiiri throws a front kick aimed at Morocco's knee but Morocco avoids it well.
Fakiiri looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Morocco takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Fakiiri fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Morocco has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fakiiri takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fakiiri misses with an uppercut.
Morocco buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fakiiri pivots, looking for a leg kick but Morocco is out of range and Fakiiri settles back down.

Morocco lands a big head kick that sends Fakiiri tumbling to the mat! Morocco takes a step backwards and waves Fakiiri back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Morocco.
Fakiiri looks to land a left hand but Morocco moved out of range nicely.
Morocco lands a head kick. Fakiiri smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Morocco tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fakiiri is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Morocco dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fakiiri. That did some damage!

Fakiiri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Morocco finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Fakiiri tries to counter with a clinch but Morocco shakes him off and moves away.
Fakiiri tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morocco paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Morocco cracks Fakiiri with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fakiiri throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Morocco's head.
Morocco throws a wild body kick that Fakiiri sees coming a mile off.
Morocco rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fakiiri counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Morocco thinking.
Fakiiri wants to clinch up but Morocco keeps it at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fakiiri.
Morocco throws a body punch but Fakiiri moves out of range.

Morocco throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fakiiri feints and then cracks Morocco's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Morocco down.
Fakiiri wants to clinch.
Morocco uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fakiiri.
A head kick by Morocco misses
and Fakiiri moves into the clinch.
Morocco is trying to break the clinch but Fakiiri has him pressed against the cage.
Fakiiri avoiding damage as Morocco throws knees to the body.
Fakiiri lands an elbow that stopped Morocco in his tracks for a moment.
Fakiiri gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
A shot in the inside from Morocco.
Morocco will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fakiiri up against the cage.

Morocco is breathing heavily.
With the fighters up against the cage, Fakiiri throws an elbow but misses.

Fakiiri creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Morocco's defenses.
Fakiiri lands a nice elbow.
Morocco is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clinched against the cage, Fakiiri lands a big elbow that drops Morocco! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Morocco is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nakki Fakiiri!
Nakki Fakiiri bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
