Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conrado Headbenze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Gamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog Gamma will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Headbenze shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gamma as he jumps to the side.
Headbenze closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gamma circles away.
Headbenze circles away from the clinch attempt.
Headbenze shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gamma as he avoids it easily.

Gamma gets caught flat footed, as Headbenze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gamma tries to clinch up but Headbenze circles away and keeps his distance.

Gamma throws a sloppy head kick and Headbenze moves out of range easily.
Gamma is looking to clinch but Headbenze is avoiding it.
Headbenze doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Gamma counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Gamma breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gamma throws a head kick but Headbenze moves out of range.

Headbenze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Headbenze throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Gamma works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Gamma is looking to improve his position.
Gamma is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Headbenze's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Headbenze's back!

Gamma has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Headbenze.
Headbenze is keeping busy.

Gamma is looking for the choke from the back position but Headbenze is controlling his hands well.
Gamma lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Headbenze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gamma lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Gamma scores with punches and elbows.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Headbenze looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gamma throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Headbenze fails with the takedown

and Gamma moves into the clinch.
Headbenze jumps guard but Gamma stands there with Headbenze around his waist. Headbenze gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Headbenze is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gamma is looking to control Headbenze's arms but Headbenze gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gamma has his back to the cage.

Gamma pulls Headbenze into guard.

Headbenze has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gamma to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Headbenze is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gamma pulls down on the head and he's put Headbenze to sleep! This one is all over!
