Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan McVie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slayer- Reign of Blood. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali wants to clinch up but McVie keeps it at a distance.

Ali shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ali was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McVie is looking to get to half guard.
Ali scores with a couple of good head shots there.
McVie tries to lock up and control but Ali gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

McVie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ali is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ali manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McVie manages to get himself to full guard.
Ali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McVie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ali is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McVie is just riding it out for now. Ali eventually gives up the hold.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Ali lands a nice looking kick to the body. McVie takes a step back to recover.

Ali has hold of McVie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McVie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ali takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
