The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeyama misses with a combination
and Ciyaalka counters by clinching up.
Takeyama looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Takeyama wants to get back to striking at distance but Ciyaalka won't allow it.
Ciyaalka drags the fight down to the ground.
Takeyama wants to get up but he can't break Ciyaalka's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ciyaalka pulls Takeyama in close to prevent any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ciyaalka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Takeyama doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ciyaalka is tightening it up a little... Takeyama has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Takeyama reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Takeyama taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ciyaalka!
