Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Wibowo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Gundersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Wibowo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noah Gundersen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wibowo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gundersen pinned against the cage. Gundersen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A little jabbing left from Gundersen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wibowo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gundersen counters with a right hand to the body.
No luck for Wibowo with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Wibowo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Gundersen counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gundersen looks to land a right hand but Wibowo moved out of range.
Wibowo shoots for a double leg takedown but Gundersen sprawls well. He's pushed Wibowo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wibowo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wibowo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gundersen's waist but Gundersen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wibowo off to one side.

Gundersen throws out a counter right but Wibowo avoids it with no problem.
Wibowo shoots in for a takedown but Gundersen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gundersen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Gundersen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Wibowo is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gundersen! But no joy.

Gundersen might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gundersen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Wibowo might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gundersen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wibowos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Noah Gundersen seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oh Wibowo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters circle momentarily. Gundersen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Noah Gundersen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No joy there for Gundersen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gundersen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
