Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Immortal Technique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne's entrance music is Bad Company. A fine choice. Technique has chosen Eye in the sky as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Technique takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Technique shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Payne pinned against the cage. Payne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Payne lands with a nice combination. Technique backs away looking to recover.

Payne thows a left - swing and a miss!
Payne lands with a thumping leg kick.
Payne misses with a double jab.
Payne throws a right and a left that Technique avoids nicely.
Payne lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Payne catches Technique with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Payne lands a leg kick that knocks Technique off balance momentarily.
Payne lands a lovely overhand right.

Technique feints and as Payne raises his hands in defense, Technique changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Technique throws an elbow that misses. Payne uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Technique's guard. Nice move by Payne!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Technique looking for a guillotine here but Payne defends easily.
Payne won't allow Technique to get back to his feet.

Technique has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Payne should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Technique has tightened it up now! Payne should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
