Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Blitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Oh...Canada as his entrance music. Roy Johnson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blitz lands with a nice body kick.

Blitz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage.

Blitz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Johnson throws a strike but Blitz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Blitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blitz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
Blitz is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him.
Blitz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Blitz gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Blitz is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Blitz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Johnson.
Johnson takes a jab right on the kisser.

Blitz closes the distance and clinches.
Blitz scores with a shoulder strike.

Blitz creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Johnson's defenses.

Johnson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blitz throws a big uppercut that drops Johnson! More strikes from Blitz and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Johnson lies dazed against the cage as Blitz celebrates with his cornermen!
