Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Percy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beast Mode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Mode manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mode displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.

Jones has managed to clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mode.
Jones pushes Mode back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Mode tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Jones can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mode controls the pace.

Mode is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.
Mode trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mode pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mode doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mode manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mode dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Mode's head and hops out.
