The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A jab lands there for Corleone.
Hudson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Corleone's waist but Corleone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hudson off to one side.
As Hudson looks to move away, Corleone throws a big counter combo but Hudson just gets out of the way.

and Corleone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hudson or perhaps it was just good defense by Corleone, which made it look bad.
Vito Corleone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Hudson.
Hudson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Hudson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Corleone wants to stand and escape but Hudson is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hudson is in close to Corleone's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Corleone has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Corleone seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Hudson chips away with some ground and pound.

Oh Corleone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hudson gets to his feet and stands over Corleone, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Corleone felt that one! Hudson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Corleone from any more punishment!
