Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Grim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarik Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Julius Grim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Grim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tarik Black!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black gets tackled into the cage by Grim. Grim maintains the clinch.
Black is working for takedown but Grim is calmly controlling the position for now.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Grim.

It looks like Tarik Black has been cut.
Grim pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Black goes for a takedown attempt but Grim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Grim fails in his attempt to clinch.

Grim moves into the clinch.
Black drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grim pulls his leg out and moves away.
Julius Grim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tarik Black.

Grim closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grim misses with an elbow strike.
Grim unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Black lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Black scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Grim is trying to stand up here but Black is controlling him well.
Grim on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Black thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Grim tries to kick Black off in order to stand up. Black Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Grim managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Black.
Grim is breathing heavily.
Check out the look on Black's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Black is staying tight to Grim's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Black trying to control the action but Grim is working from the bottom.
Black works to advance to full mount. Grim defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee warns Grim that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Grim holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Black tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Black throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Grim because Black loaded up on that one.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Black working the ground and pound effectively.
Black landing strikes, looking to finish!
Black lands a couple of good shots and Grim has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Grim is trapped and Black is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Grim is rocked!
Black is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Oh Grim is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Black lands strikes from the back and Grim isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tarik Black!
Tarik Black spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
