Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randolph Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus Meridius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gracie cracks Meridius with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Meridius looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gracie finish him?
Meridius is rocked!
It looks like Maximus Meridius has been cut.
Meridius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Meridius counters by moving into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meridius has Gracie pressed against the cage, preventing Gracie from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Gracie felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Meridius scores with a big shot! Gracie's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gracie! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Post fight, an emotional Maximus Meridius said 'Are you entertained? Are you not entertained?!?!?'.
