The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dean shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lunatic napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lunatic shoots in looking for a takedown. Dean tries to sprawl out of it but Lunatic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dean manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lunatic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dean manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As Lunatic tries to get set, Dean tries to push him back and clinch up but Lunatic manages to avoid the attempt.
Dean feints and as Lunatic raises his hands in defense, Dean changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
