The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mashyeel moves into the clinch.
Hogan has Mashyeel pushed against the cage.
Hogan can't get the takedown.
Hogan is trying to break the clinch but Mashyeel has him pressed against the cage.

Mashyeel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mashyeel drives through with a takedown into Hogan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hogan wants to sweep but no luck.

Hogan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mashyeel has picked Hogan up and slammed him! Hogan can't keep hold of the triangle and Mashyeel manages to pass to side control!
Hogan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mashyeel on the ground.
Mashyeel controls the position from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mashyeel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hogan looks to move to half guard but instead Mashyeel has passed into mount! Damn!
