And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludwig Manres!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormick throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Manres on the side of the head.
McCormick scores with a head kick. Manres tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Manres chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McCormick can pounce on him.
McCormick stuffs the takedown.
Manres has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Manres tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCormick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Manres somewhat.
The fight stays on the outside here - McCormick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Manres is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

McCormick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

As Manres tries to get set, McCormick tries to push him back and clinch up but Manres manages to avoid the attempt.
Kenny McCormick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ludwig Manres.
That kick from McCormick tenderised Manres's leg. Manres is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Manres cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

McCormick looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McCormick throws a leg kick which misses Manres's front leg but catches the back leg as Manres tries to avoid it.

Kenny McCormick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Manres shoots for a double leg takedown but McCormick sprawls well. He's pushed Manres's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looked like McCormick was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Manres.

Manres takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A solid leg kick lands there for McCormick.
Nice takedown defense from McCormick. No joy for Manres on that attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manres glances at the clock... BAM! McCormick nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Manres crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Manres is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
