The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patoshik throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Cerqueira blocks a leg kick.
Cerqueira bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Cerqueira throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut lands for Patoshik. That snapped Cerqueira's head back.
Patoshik ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Patoshik misses with a two punch combination.
Cerqueira jabs Patoshik right on the nose. Patoshik blinks but takes it well.
A big left from Patoshik misses.
Patoshik tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A thudding body kick lands there by Cerqueira!
Cerqueira throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cerqueira swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It seemed like Patoshik was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cerqueira throws a quick inside leg kick.

Patoshik misses with a shot to the body
and Cerqueira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A punch combination from Cerqueira misses.
Cerqueira buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Alessandro Cerqueira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patoshik rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cerqueira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As Patoshik looks to move away, Cerqueira throws a big counter combo but Patoshik just gets out of the way.
An inside leg kick lands from Cerqueira.
Cerqueira tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cerqueira keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Charles Patoshik has been cut.
Patoshik looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cerqueira connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Patoshik is rocked!
Cerqueira stuns Patoshik with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Patoshik is still on wobbly legs! Can Cerqueira finish him?
A kick lands to the mid section there for Cerqueira.
Patoshik looks winded!

Cerqueira cracks Patoshik with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Patoshik is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Patoshik is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Patoshik could not beat the count!
