The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Marfil jabs at Bowman's body.
Marfil lands a jab.

It looks like Casey Bowman has been cut.

Bowman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marfil wants to get back to striking at distance but Bowman won't allow it.

Marfil breaks the clinch.
Marfil just misses with a punch to the body.
Bowman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marfil finds it's way round the side to connect with Bowman's head.

Marfil lands a left and a right that send Bowman crashing to the mat, dazed. Marfil thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bowman is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marfil lands with a big right hook that stumbles Bowman - he's out on his feet here! Marfil follows up with another monster hook that separates Bowman from consciousness! Bowman falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Marfil stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
