Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Motson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lionel Lindsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsay throws the kick towards the body but Motson avoids it.
Motson moves into range and clinches up with Lindsay.
Lindsay crunches a lovely knee into Motson's ribcage.

Motson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Motson tries to get out of the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lindsay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lindsay drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Motson dives on top into guard.
Lindsay pulls Motson in close to his closed guard and prevents Motson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lindsay is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Motson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
