Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zoran Daranbolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Eremeev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daranbolt comes to the cage accompanied by Blood Of My Enemies. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daranbolt throws an overhand right that lands on Eremeev's shoulder, as Eremeev tries to avoid the shot.
Sloppy strikes from Eremeev. Those never looked like landing.

and Daranbolt counters with a straight right hand.
Daranbolt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Daranbolt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Eremeev clinches up with Daranbolt and pushes him back against the cage.
I was talking to Daranbolt's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Eremeev swings wildly with an uppercut but Daranbolt uses good head movement to avoid it.

Eremeev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Daranbolt dips a shoulder and cracks Eremeev with a mighty uppercut! Eremeev falls back against the cage and Daranbolt unloads with a barrage of strikes! Eremeev is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Daranbolt screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
