Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Solberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janusz Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Solberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Janusz Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Solberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nowak throws a right hand that Solberg ducks under and follows up with a left that Solberg also avoids with ease.
Solberg lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nowak ducks under a wild hook from Solberg.
Solberg throws a head kick that Nowak semi-blocks.
Solberg fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nowak has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nowak tries for a takedown but Solberg sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nowak shoots for a double leg takedown but Solberg sprawls well. He's pushed Nowak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nowak takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Solberg throws a leg kick which misses Nowak's front leg but catches the back leg as Nowak tries to avoid it.
Solberg pushes Nowak away with a front kick.
Solberg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Solberg lands with a kick to the temple. Nowak shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That's one minute gone in the round.
Solberg throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nowak looks to clinch
and Solberg makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Nowak really felt that one!
Nowak has his takedown stuffed
and Solberg counters with a good low kick that Nowak was not able to check.
Peter Solberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janusz Nowak.
Nowak looks winded!
Crunch! Solberg slams his shin into Nowak's torso.
Solberg throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Solberg throws a head kick that Nowak semi-blocks.
Nowak takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nice defenses there by Solberg.
Solberg was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Solberg. Nowak shrugs it off though.
A nice inside leg kick there by Solberg. That's going to slow Nowak down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nowak takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
An inside leg kick lands from Solberg.
Solberg lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Nowak takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Solberg bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Solberg lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Nowak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Solberg's guard.
Solberg pulls Nowak in close to prevent any damage.

Solberg is looking to cinch up a triangle. Nowak throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Solberg's body to avoid the submission. Solberg has instead reached around Nowak's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Solberg arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
