Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santos Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Breese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan's entrance music is Wassup - by ASAP Rocky. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breese's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ryan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Breese scrambles back to his feet.
Breese on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ryan. Ryan obviously looking to wear him down.
Ryan jabs Breese to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ryan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Breese walks into a stiff left hand from Ryan.
Breese throws a nice looking combination but Ryan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Breese takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Breese moves in looking to clinch but Ryan pushes him off.
Nice cross by Ryan.
Ryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ryan has closed the distance and engaged Breese in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ryan scores with a shoulder strike.

Ryan lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Benny Breese has been cut.
Ryan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Ryan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Breese moves to clinch but Ryan breaks away
and Ryan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ryan lands a nice shot that snaps Breese's head back.
Breese drops his hands momentarily and Ryan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A nice combination there by Ryan.
Good standup being displayed there by Ryan as he connects with a hook.
Ryan closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Breese is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Breese darts in looking for a takedown but Ryan gets double underhooks and turns Breese into the cage.
A left lands for Ryan.

Ryan has Breese up against the cage in a clinch.
Ryan misses with an elbow strike.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ryan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A shot in the inside from Ryan.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ryan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Breese is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryan finish him?

Breese is trying to maintain a safe position but Ryan gets an underhook and turns Breese into the cage.

Ryan has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Breese goes down! Ryan pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!
Breese is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Ryan lands a strong strike to the head of Breese. That's dazed him! Ryan looking to finish here. Breese is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ryan lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
