The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramantalaa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Browning's guard.
Ramantalaa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ramantalaa wants to control from the top but Browning keeps moving.
Browning has his hands on Ramantalaa's head, controlling the position.
Ramantalaa wants to stand but Browning is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Browning drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ramantalaa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Browning has Ramantalaa in his guard.

Ramantalaa drops back looking for a leg! Browning is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Browning manages to kick Ramantalaa off! Ramantalaa jumps back into Browning's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ramantalaa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Browning is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Browning has escaped and now he's on top!
Ramantalaa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Browning is breathing heavily.
Ramantalaa tries to pass to full mount but Browning defends it.

Ramantalaa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Browning keeps working.

Ramantalaa is refusing to be controlled, as Browning sits in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ramantalaa can do anything to dispel that myth.
