The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Milat doesn't manage to clinch there - Gushiken circles away.

and Gushiken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Milat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gushiken.

Gushiken keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Milat thuds his shin into the meat of Gushiken's side.

Gushiken has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Milat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Milat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Milat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gushiken manages to avoid it.

Gushiken might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Milat bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gushiken's head backwards.

As Gushiken tries to get set, Milat tries to push him back and clinch up but Gushiken manages to avoid the attempt.

Gushiken checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Gushiken counters with a series of strikes. Milat will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Gushiken cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gushiken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Milat.
Gushiken is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Milat lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gushiken will feel that in the morning.
Gushiken scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Milat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Milat gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gushiken gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
