Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker rushes Sorrowe and presses him up against the cage.

Sean Sorrowe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Parker lands a head kick. Sorrowe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Sean Sorrowe has been cut.
Parker's coach down at Gym of the Gods was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sorrowe shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense.

Parker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sorrowe.
Parker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Good leg kick by Parker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Parker leaves Sorrowe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Parker looks to land a combination. Sorrowe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Peter Parker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
