Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Strashko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reuben Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox has chosen Lituation-Fabolous as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Strashko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reuben Cox!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox throws a head kick but Strashko moves out of range.
Cox lands a nice shot that snaps Strashko's head back.
Strashko throws a chopping leg kick but Cox manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cox has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cox throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Strashko feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cox's calf.
Cox pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cox walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Strashko walks into a stiff left hand from Cox.
Cox lands with a straight right. Strashko didn't see that one coming.
Cox throws a head kick but Strashko moves out of range.
It looked like Strashko wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Strashko has his takedown stuffed
and Cox counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cox throws a hook to the side of Strashko's head but Strashko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Strashko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Strashko scores with a nice right hand.
Strashko ducks right into an uppercut from Cox.
Strashko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Strashko looks to throw the jab but Cox is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cox lands a high kick!
Strashko misses with a body shot.

Strashko has closed the distance and engaged Cox in a clinch.

Strashko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Whack! Cox lands a heavy head kick that drops Strashko. The ref tackles Cox to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Strashko was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Reuben Cox!
A relieved looking Reuben Cox thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Ivan Strashko spoke after the fight, saying 'I got bribed to lose. Would have won otherwise.'.
