The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pruno fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ballard sprawls well initially but Pruno persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ballard slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pruno trying to control but Ballard is working from the bottom.
Ballard has Pruno pulled in close to control his posture.

Pruno content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ballard has locked up a guillotine! Ballard's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pruno is holding on here and Ballard must be using up a lot of energy. Pruno has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ballard gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
