Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade misses with a shot to the body

and Knox holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Knox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Knox closes the distance and clinches up with Wade, looking for a takedown. Knox pushes Wade against the cage but Wade circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wade does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Knox takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Knox throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wade tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Knox is in Wade's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knox takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Knox is pushing down on Wade's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wade is fighting to maintain full guard but Knox has managed to sneak the leg through.

Knox jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wade is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wade and Knox has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Wade is trying to control Knox's posture but Knox avoids it.
Knox is looking to take a break and control but Wade is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Knox in side control, throwing shots but Wade defends.
Wade is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Knox creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Knox working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wade is trying to escape the position but Knox is controlling the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeremy Wade.
I think Wade has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
