The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brickstock circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lesnar throws an off balance right hand
and Brickstock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Chuck Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brickstock feinted with a counter takedown.
The fighters circling - Lesnar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lesnar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lesnar gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lesnar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lesnar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brickstock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lesnar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Brickstock swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chuck Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lesnar has Brickstock up against the cage in a clinch.
Lesnar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Brickstock breaks the clinch.

Lesnar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brickstock was covering up waiting for the punch and Lesnar finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Brickstock manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lesnar throws a combination that misses
and Brickstock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lesnar misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like Brickstock was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Brickstock swats away the attempt to clinch by Lesnar.
Lesnar throws a looping overhand right but Brickstock ducks down to avoid it.
Brickstock misses with a leg kick.
Lesnar moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Broderick Brickstock has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt
and Brickstock counters with a nice body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A right-left combo lands from Brickstock.

Brickstock gets tackled into the cage by Lesnar. Lesnar maintains the clinch.

Brickstock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brickstock scores with the left hand. Lesnar knows he should have avoided that one.


That has opened up Chuck Lesnar's cut even more.
Lesnar throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
letting Brickstock counter with a right hand.
A lazy left from Lesnar finds it's target.
Lesnar throws an off balance right hand
and Brickstock counters with a series of strikes. Lesnar will be more careful next time no doubt.
A swing and a miss from Lesnar.
A punch combination from Lesnar misses.
A quick step to the side and Brickstock tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lesnar misses with a head kick.
Lesnar looks winded!

Lesnar clinches.
Lesnar looking to throw knees to the head but Brickstock is blocking nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar scores with a three punch combo!
Lesnar misses with a combination

and Brickstock counters with a crisp one two that drops Lesnar! Brickstock thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lesnar to his feet! Lesnar is in big trouble!

and Brickstock counters with a nice right hand that sends Lesnar toppling to the canvas! Lesnar scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Brickstock finish him?!


Lesnar is rocked!


The cut above Chuck Lesnar's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A shot to the liver by Brickstock. Beautiful body shot.
Lesnar is still on wobbly legs! Can Brickstock finish him?
Brickstock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brickstock fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lesnar seems to have recovered his senses.
Brickstock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lesnar tries to clinch
and Brickstock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lesnar closes the distance looking to clinch
and Brickstock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brickstock tries to clinch there but Lesnar circles away.
A low kick from Lesnar is predictable there
and Brickstock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Chuck Lesnar's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Lesnar instigates a clinch.

Lesnar manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar wants to clinch

and Brickstock counters with a crisp one two that drops Lesnar! Brickstock thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lesnar to his feet! Lesnar is in big trouble!
Lesnar throws a body kick that misses
and Brickstock rattles Lesnar with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Lesnar tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Brickstock dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Lesnar stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Broderick Brickstock!
