Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marley OConnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Wilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Christopher Wilt!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OConnor throws a lazy uppercut

and Wilt counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
OConnor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wilt passes the guard and advances to mount!
Wilt thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Wilt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wilt looking to control but OConnor is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Wilt has hold of OConnor's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and OConnor manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilt goes for an armbar but OConnor turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from OConnor.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
OConnor wants to stand but Wilt has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
OConnor is looking to work some ground and pound but Wilt has wrist control.

OConnor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilt's guard.

OConnor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wilt works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
OConnor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilt on the ground.

Wilt wants to pass the guard but OConnor is keeping the position.

Wilt is looking for a kimura but OConnor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wilt to get the leverage.
OConnor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wilt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wilt's back!
OConnor lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Wilt hold on?!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now OConnor is on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
OConnor is in close to Wilt's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Wilt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Wilt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and OConnor defends well.
Wilt lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Marley OConnor will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wilt takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A lazy left from OConnor finds it's target.
OConnor doesn't manage to clinch there - Wilt circles away.
OConnor lands with a shot to the body.
OConnor clobbers Wilt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
OConnor misses with a looping left.

OConnor lands a big right hand that sends Wilt crashing to the mat! OConnor stays standing though and waves Wilt back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Wilt counters with a takedown into side control.

OConnor throws Wilt to one side and escapes!
OConnor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilt can do to turn this around?
OConnor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
OConnor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Marley OConnor is winning the standup battle so far.

OConnor drops Wilt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilt looks back up at him and smiles so OConnor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Wilt is rocked!

Wilt walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from OConnor! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
