Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen misses with a head kick.
Ramirez lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Ramirez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Allen closes the distance and clinches up with Ramirez, looking for a takedown. Allen pushes Ramirez against the cage but Ramirez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Ramirez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
