The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers cracks Rodriquez with a right hand to the side of the head.
Rogers throws a jab when Rodriquez was well out of range.
Rogers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rodriquez fails with the takedown
and Rogers counters with a leg kick.
Rogers cracks Rodriquez with a right hand to the side of the head.
Rodriquez wants to clinch up but Rogers keeps it at a distance.
Rodriquez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut.
Rodriquez fails with a takedown attempt.
Rodriquez ducks under a wild hook from Rogers.
Rogers tries to clinch there but Rodriquez circles away.
Rodriquez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Rodriquez gets the takedown into side control.

Rogers sneaks out the side door and pushes Rodriquez away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rodriquez throws a series of punches but Rogers moves out of range.
Rodriquez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rogers counters with a left and a right... And another left! Rodriquez is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
