Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Marcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks to land a right hand but Marcy moved out of range.
Marcy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva tries to bum rush Marcy with a series of wild strikes but Marcy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Lance Marcy has been cut.
Silva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marcy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Marcy closes the distance and clinches.
Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Marcy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marcy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Silva will probably get the nod.

Silva closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Marcy! Silva dives in looking to finish! Marcy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
