Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sendou Kitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Du Toit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitano comes to the cage accompanied by Yoshida Brothers - Ibuki. Roy Du Toit is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sendou Kitano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Du Toit!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kitano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Du Toit sprawling to the canvas! Du Toit rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kitano finish him?!


It looks like Roy Du Toit has been cut.
Du Toit looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kitano forces Du Toit back against the cage and clinches.

Kitano lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Kitano is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Kitano drops Du Toit onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Du Toit is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Du Toit is rocked!
Du Toit's coach down at Animal House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Du Toit's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kitano unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Du Toit! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Kitano is unloading with more strikes now! Du Toit drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sendou Kitano!
Post fight, Sendou Kitano took to the microphone: 'This guy was just there to keep me warm for my true target - Ivan Ogard. I will avenge the only loss on my record, and I will then make my way towards Championship gold.'.
