Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Braden Szymon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch has chosen Psychosocial as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch connects with a single shot there.
Szymon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lynch pinned against the cage. Lynch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Szymon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A lazy left from Lynch finds it's target.

It looks like Braden Szymon has been cut.
Lynch throws a leg kick but Szymon sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Szymon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Szymon swings wildly with an uppercut but Lynch uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lynch pulls Szymon into guard.

Szymon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lynch looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lynch looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lynch!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Szymon struggling a bit here.
Lynch trying to control the position but Szymon is working away.
Szymon sneaks back into half guard.
Lynch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lynch working over Szymon with some ground and pound. Szymon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Szymon is looking to improve his position.

Szymon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lynch scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lynch lands a nice short elbow.
Szymon has a hand on Lynch's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Lynch takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Lynch in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Lynch looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Lynch lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lynch cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lynch connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Szymon is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lynch lands a big shot there that rocks Szymon but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oh Szymon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Szymon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Szymon is breathing heavily.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Lynch! Szymon is hurt baaadly! Lynch is firing away with more strikes - Szymon is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
