Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Avery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wacka Flocka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Avery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wacka Flocka!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flocka throws a leg kick but Avery sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Flocka throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Avery shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flocka pinned against the cage. Flocka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Avery shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Flocka wants to stand but Avery is controlling the position.
Flocka is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
