And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gaz Ghonda!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ghonda drives through and clinches with Bacinski against the cage.
Bacinski has had enough of the clinch but Ghonda keeps him there for the moment.
Bacinski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ghonda prevents Bacinski from breaking the clinch.
Ghonda wants a takedown but no success here.
Ghonda tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bacinski just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bacinski tries to break the clinch but Ghonda is controlling the position.
Bacinski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ghonda manages to break the clinch.
Bacinski swats away the attempt to clinch by Ghonda.

Ghonda has Bacinski up against the cage in a clinch.
Ghonda fails to pull guard.
Anton Bacinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaz Ghonda.
Bacinski wants to get back to striking at distance but Ghonda won't allow it.
Ghonda is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Bacinski is trying to break free.

Ghonda breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bacinski looks for a takedown but Ghonda sprawls well.
Ghonda goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Anton Bacinski has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ghonda shoots in and drives through. Bacinski sprawls well.

Ghonda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Bacinski sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Bacinski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bacinski is trying to maintain the position but Ghonda is very close to passing his half guard.
Bacinski tries to roll over but Ghonda keeps him under control.
Bacinski holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Bacinski works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bacinski trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bacinski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ghonda wants to control from the top but Bacinski keeps moving.
Ghonda wants to stand but Bacinski has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bacinski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ghonda is one step ahead there.
Ghonda working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bacinski looking for a sweep. Not yet Bacinski, not yet.
Ghonda would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ghonda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bacinski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bacinski gets caught flat footed, as Ghonda shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bacinski keeping moving, preventing Ghonda from controlling successfully.
Bacinski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ghonda!

Bacinski connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ghonda tries to lock up and control but Bacinski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ghonda is bucking up trying to escape but Bacinski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bacinski has isolated one of Ghonda's arms. Ghonda looking to fight him off but Bacinski twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
