The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrix showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Downe.
Hendrix is looking for a counter combo.
Downe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hendrix misses with a takedown attempt - Downe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Downe is looking for the big counter here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Downe throws a leg kick but Hendrix checks it.
Downe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hendrix.

Oooooh!!! Downe has knocked Hendrix down with a huge combo! Downe steps away and waves a wobbly Hendrix back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Buster Hendrix has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A relieved looking Getzat Downe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
