Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anthony Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kilpatrick swivels and escapes.
Kilpatrick is looking to counter with a body kick.

Kilpatrick closes the distance and pushes Ramirez back into the cage.
Kilpatrick misses with a knee strike.

Kilpatrick scores a nice knee to the body.

Kilpatrick lands a big head kick that sends Ramirez tumbling to the mat! Kilpatrick takes a step backwards and waves Ramirez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ramirez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kilpatrick can pounce on him.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kilpatrick takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Kilpatrick for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Still in the clinch, Kilpatrick scores with a nice short uppercut.

Ramirez tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Kilpatrick counters with a head kick that drops Ramirez to the mat! Ramirez scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


That has opened up Anthony Ramirez's cut even more.
Kilpatrick throws a quick inside leg kick.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kilpatrick, right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ramirez tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Ramirez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kilpatrick to the ground. Ramirez is now in Kilpatrick's guard.
Kilpatrick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kilpatrick tries to get out of the position.

Kilpatrick is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramirez is aware though and is defending well.

Ramirez pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Ramirez has hold of Kilpatrick's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kilpatrick manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ramirez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kilpatrick looks a forlorn figure.

Ramirez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kilpatrick's face.

Kilpatrick seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Ramirez jumps guard but Kilpatrick stands there with Ramirez around his waist. Ramirez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Anthony Ramirez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anthony Ramirez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
