The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paha misses with the combination.
Paha throws a series of punches but Gillberg moves out of range.
Paha throws a looping overhand right but Gillberg ducks down to avoid it.
Paha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gillberg blocks a head kick by Paha.
Paha misses the jab.
Nice combo by Paha! Oh, that's hurt him - Gillberg falls to the canvas and Paha follows him into side control.

It looks like Theo Gillberg has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gillberg is looking to regain half guard here but Paha keeps moving and retains side control.
Paha remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Gillberg is looking to reverse the position.

Paha decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Iso Paha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gillberg throws a jab when Paha was well out of range.

Paha cracks a nice hook into Gillberg's ribs.
The fighters circling - Paha throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gillberg loads up on a big right hand but Paha slips the punch.
Paha throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Paha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Iso Paha has been cut.
Gillberg uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Paha.
Gillberg avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gillberg fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Paha checks it well.
Paha drops his hands momentarily and Gillberg takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Paha missing with a left hand there. Gillberg was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gillberg throws an overhand right that lands on Paha's shoulder, as Paha tries to avoid the shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Paha, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paha slips a jab and a cross from Gillberg.
Nice defenses there by Gillberg.

Paha scores with a jab to the head.
Paha stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gillberg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gillberg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gillberg avoids the head kick by Paha.
Paha scores with a head kick.
Paha scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice body punch from Paha.
A thudding body kick lands there by Paha!
Gillberg looks gassed!
Gillberg misses the jab.
Gillberg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Paha throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Paha connects with the punch.
Paha lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gillberg moves away from the strike by Paha.
Paha throws a lazy right hand but Gillberg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gillberg connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A right-left combo lands from Paha.
Paha lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Good shot there by Gillberg.
Gillberg takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gillberg tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gillberg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Paha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Paha lands a head kick. Gillberg smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Paha drops Gillberg with a beautiful combination! Gillberg stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Paha is looking for the KO!

Gillberg is rocked!

BOOM! Paha lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gillberg. Gillberg tries to recover but Paha is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gillberg lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iso Paha!
