Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins lands a right hook to the body.
Jenkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jenkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Shimit is just out of range.
Jenkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shimit tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shimit to the ground. Shimit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shimit throws a head kick that misses.
Jenkins jabs Shimit to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jenkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jenkins throws a shot to the body.
No luck for Jenkins with that takedown attempt.
Jenkins throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jenkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shimit was well out of range. Poor timing from Jenkins.
Shimit wants to counter the offense by Jenkins and move into the clinch position.
Jenkins throws a predictable looking body shot

and Shimit counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shimit.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shimit wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.

Shimit content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jenkins has locked up a guillotine! Jenkins's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Shimit is holding on here and Jenkins must be using up a lot of energy. Shimit has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jenkins gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
