Guillermo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fractal - Amor (feat. Syrin). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Guillermo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duke Rage!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rage drops Guillermo with a beautiful combination! Guillermo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rage is looking for the KO!


Guillermo is rocked!
Guillermo wants to clinch up but Rage keeps it at a distance.
Oh Guillermo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guillermo throws a sloppy head kick and Rage moves out of range easily.
Guillermo seems to have got his legs back now.
Rage misses with the combination.
Rage blocks a leg kick.
Rage misses with a series of wild punches.

Guillermo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rage manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Guillermo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rage wants to get back to his feet but Guillermo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Guillermo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Rage has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Body Pain_14elite_650$+VM. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Guillermo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rage wants to stand up but Guillermo is controlling him.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Rage throws a body shot but no joy.

Rage tries to clinch up but Guillermo circles away and keeps his distance.

Rage pushes Guillermo up against the ropes in a clinch.

Guillermo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Rage must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guillermo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Guillermo holds on and takes a little breather.

Rage tries to score with a low kick but Guillermo moves his leg out of the way.

Duke Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rage lands a big right hand that sends Guillermo crashing to the mat! Rage stays standing though and waves Guillermo back to his feet!
Rage plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Guillermo to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Guillermo just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Duke Rage!
