The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mechers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Foxtrot to the mat! Foxtrot manages to get full guard.
Mechers trying to control the position from guard on top but Foxtrot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mechers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mechers works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Foxtrot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mechers is just riding it out for now. Foxtrot eventually gives up the hold.
Mechers is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Foxtrot's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Foxtrot's back!
Foxtrot can't escape the position.
Foxtrot breaks Mechers's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Foxtrot drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mechers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Foxtrot has Mechers in his guard.

Foxtrot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mechers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Foxtrot is tightening it up a little... Mechers has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mechers reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mechers taps out! Nice BJJ there by Foxtrot!
