The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black lands with a hook. Herman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Walter Herman has been cut.
Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Herman manages to avoid it.
Herman throws a big counter combination but Black scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Herman shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Herman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Black works the jab nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
