Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monroe Melton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Melton. No joy for Lloyd on that attempt.
Lloyd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Melton but Melton pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That was a close second round but I would say that Monroe Melton will probably get the nod.

Lloyd bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Melton's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Melton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lloyd jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Melton walks away with a smile on his face. Lloyd gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

I would just about give that final round to Ben Lloyd.
