The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaraivo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silvestre swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Silvestre throws a right and a left that both miss.
Takaraivo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Takaraivo moves into the clinch.
Silvestre wants to break free but Takaraivo has control.
Silvestre lands a right hand that snaps the head of Takaraivo backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silvestre.

Silvestre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silvestre misses with a hook. Takaraivo ducked under it nicely.

Takaraivo has Silvestre up against the cage in a clinch.
Silvestre fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Silvestre breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silvestre throws out a loose jab but Takaraivo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Takaraivo steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Silvestre throws the left hand but Takaraivo avoids the punch easily.
Silvestre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Takaraivo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Takaraivo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silvestre.

Silvestre connects with a good right hand that stumbles Takaraivo. Takaraivo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Takaraivo throws a head kick that misses
and Silvestre counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A punch combination from Silvestre misses.
Silvestre comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silvestre scores with a sloppy right hand. Takaraivo should have avoided that one.

It looks like Nyyrikki Takaraivo has been cut.
Silvestre cracks Takaraivo with a hook to the temple - Takaraivo is on wobbly legs here! Silvestre swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Takaraivo falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Silvestre wins by TKO!
