Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tanlagu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanlagu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Where The Hood At kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! David Tanlagu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Tanlagu!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill tries to bum rush Tanlagu with a series of wild strikes but Tanlagu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hill looks to land a body kick but Tanlagu moved away.
Hill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tanlagu is looking to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tanlagu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hill tries to keep at a distance but Tanlagu has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tanlagu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tanlagu stuffs the takedown.
A little jabbing left from Tanlagu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
David Tanlagu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tanlagu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hill throws a half hearted mid kick.
A combination from Tanlagu does no damage.
Tanlagu looks winded!
Hill misses with a takedown
and Tanlagu counters with a three punch combo that has Hill backing up. Hill nods at Tanlagu to acknowledge the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tanlagu throws a right and a left that Hill avoids nicely.
Hill looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Hill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanlagu's waist but Tanlagu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hill off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanlagu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tanlagu tries to avoid it but Hill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tanlagu to the ground. Tanlagu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tanlagu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tanlagu showed some decent athleticism there.

Hill kicks off Tanlagu and gets to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Tanlagu as Hill shoots in.

Hill clinches up with Tanlagu and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tanlagu is trying to push Hill away but Hill has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Tanlagu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hill with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hill is trying to break the clinch but Tanlagu has him pressed against the cage.

Hill pulls guard.
Hill has his hands on Tanlagu's head, controlling the position.
Hill trying to keep a closed guard but Tanlagu is proving a slippery customer.
Hill is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tanlagu is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Tanlagu wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hill's closed guard. He's half up but Hill has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hill pivots and extends the arm, Tanlagu falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hill! Well done that man!
