And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dzhumagaliev wants to land a leg kick but Kim is out of range.
Dzhumagaliev misses with a two punch combination.
Kim is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dzhumagaliev lands a right hook to the body.
Kim keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dzhumagaliev.
Kim gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dzhumagaliev.
Roberto Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dzhumagaliev throws a leg kick which misses Kim's front leg but catches the back leg as Kim tries to avoid it.
Kim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dzhumagaliev was well out of range. Poor timing from Kim.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kim has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kim shoots in but Dzhumagaliev avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kim drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dzhumagaliev defends it well.

Kim loads up on a big right hand but Dzhumagaliev slips the punch.

and Dzhumagaliev counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Roberto Kim has been cut.

Kim tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dzhumagaliev's elbow.
Dzhumagaliev misses with a short punch on the inside.

Kim is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Kim can't get the takedown.

Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dzhumagaliev appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Dzhumagaliev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kim.
Dzhumagaliev stuffs the takedown attempt from Kim. Kim gets slowly back to his feet.
Kim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dzhumagaliev.
Kim throws a lazy body kick
and Dzhumagaliev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kim is looking to chop away at Dzhumagaliev's legs.
Dzhumagaliev misses with a two punch combination.
Kim moves out of range of the strikes.
Dzhumagaliev lands a glancing blow to the side of Kim's head.
Kim slips under a jab.
Kim connects with a looping right hand.
Kim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kim takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Dzhumagaliev blocks a jab.
Dzhumagaliev throws a low kick but Kim avoids it.
And Kim tries to counter it with a takedown but Dzhumagaliev pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kim works the jab nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nikolai Dzhumagaliev dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Roberto Kim's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kim lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kim will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kim misses with a body punch
and Dzhumagaliev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dzhumagaliev, right into the meat.
Dzhumagaliev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kim.
Kim looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dzhumagaliev slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


Kim is rocked!
Dzhumagaliev Throws a clean left jab. Dzhumagaliev Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Kim's chin! Kim crumbles to the ground and Dzhumagaliev follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Dzhumagaliev!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nikolai Dzhumagaliev!
As Nikolai Dzhumagaliev got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: менің белдеуін қайда? шайтан!!!'.
Roberto Kim spoke after the fight, saying 'HOOOODOOR!'.
