Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Zachery Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Madison!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Madison swinging wildly here.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Madison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Madison decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva is rocked!
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Madison on the ground.

Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Madison wants to work for an arm triangle but Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Still in half guard, Madison seems content to control.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.

Madison is working for a submission of some sort.
Madison thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Madison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Madison eventually gives up the hold.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva is doing well to control the position and prevent Madison from advancing to side control.
Madison throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Madison postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Silva to stand up.

Madison has taken the fight to the clinch.

Madison gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Silva manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Silva is trying to pull guard but Madison turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Madison pulls guard.
Silva throws a strike but Madison rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Madison is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Madison stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Madison cracks Silva on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Silva falls backwards against the cage. Madison follows up with more strikes that drop Silva to his knees. Madison keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Silva! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Madison!
